Top 5 Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Uses when Raising Boys
I am sure most parents can relate with the fact that there are a TON of accidents and mistakes when it comes to kids. I have found in the past 4 years that my 3 boys can create quite a mess. Sometimes I panic when I see what they have done, but I am surprised that I have found a solution for those problems....Honestly, Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are my go to cleaning item now. 1. Nail polish - It is kind of funny now, but at the time it DEFINITELY was not funny. I had asked my husband to keep an eye on our then 3 year old while I hopped into the shower. When I cam out there was pink nail polish all over my nightstand, iPhone and iPad! AHHH! I wanted to scream. I calmly asked my son ... "What happened?" and his response was "Mommy, I wanted to paint you a picture." Your probably thinking wait, wasn't your husband supposed to be watching him? Yes, yes he was {supposed to be}! Luckily I had a protective case on both of my electronics, but the nightstand was covered.
This is the before and after picture of the nail polish on my nightstand. I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to take the pink nail polish off of my nightstand. The picture does not do it justice. This is just a small portion of the top, but it was covered in nail polish. I really felt that it was ruined, but the magic eraser took it off!2. Car Seats - Our family is in the car A LOT. I am constantly reminding my boys not to kick the seats. I probably say it at least 10 times every car ride. We have a light interior so the seats get dirty and scuffed quickly from their shoes. Not only did the magic eraser make a HUGE difference in the seats, but it takes away all the scuff marks on the doors.
3. Scuffs on shoes - Somehow my kids are constantly stepping on my feet. All of my shoes have scuff marks all over them because of their little shoes scraping, scuffing or stepping on my shoes. I was shocked at how easily they came off when I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
4. Wall/Railing Art - We have been very lucky for the fact that our kids have yet to express their creativity on our walls a lot. My oldest son decided one day that he wanted to create a scavenger hunt on items in our house. He went around with a blue marker and made little scribbles in various places that I am still finding new ones all the time. This particular drawing was on our banister right as you walk in our front door. I tried various cleaners and products, but nothing could get it to come off until I tried the magic eraser.
5. Trim Scuffs & Handprints- I hope my kids are not the only ones who walk down our hallways and up the steps dragging their hands along the walls. My husband and I made the mistake of painting our walls flat in our house so every little mark shows up and is hard to keep clean. They like to drive their trucks up and down the hallways, so we get a lot of little scuff marks on the trim.
