I love planning ahead and being prepared for the holidays. It helps me to save money by figuring out everyone on our gift list ahead of time. I like to sit down and write down all of the people who will be purchasing a gift for during the holidays. Then, I will write a budget amount next to their names along with a few gift suggestions.For example, we will be buying two teacher gifts this year. On my list, I wrote down their names along with how much I want to spend on each. Now this does not mean I have to spend this much, but I will not go over the budgeted amount.Then, I add up my total to make sure I can afford to purchase every gift on our list.
