Since our new little one is set to arrive in a few weeks I am starting to plan the items that I will now need to pack in our diaper bag for him. I often forget how much stuff you need for a newborn. Since I already have 2 boys my diaper bag is constantly being stuffed with useless items that we do not need. I am always struggling with how heavy it can get because it is full of junk.To prepare for the baby I came up with a list of our must have items for both the new baby and my other 2 children.

- Diaper Cream
- Disposable Bag – I often found myself changing a diaper someplace where I could not dispose of it.
- Changing Pad
- Bottle/Formula or Other feeding necessities

- Extra Clothes – I know when my boys were younger they would often leak through their outfits and now that we have 1 potty trained I always like to have an extra set of underwear and pants.

Depending on the ages of your children you might not need everything on this list. I know as my boys got older we took less and less items with us. I would also suggest having a few back-up items in your car to use as necessary. This way you are not lugging it around with you everywhere you go but you have it just in case.
