Walgreens Holiday Gift Guide: Service Providers Edition
I am sure by now most of you have created a list with all the people you are going to purchase a present for this year. I like to have everyone’s names and a few gift suggestions. It makes shopping much easier and a lot less stressful. How many people are you buying for this year? Did you forget anyone on your list? Often times people forget to include their service providers on their holiday shopping list. These people can include anyone that provides you with a service on a regular basis such as a hair dresser, physical therapist, nurse, nanny, housekeeper, etc. This year, show the service providers in your life how much you appreciate what they do for you by heading to your local Walgreens and getting the perfect gift.Walgreens is the perfect destination to get everything you need for the holidays, including those small gifts for the important people in your lives. Walgreens has a wide range of gifts for anyone on your list.If you are like me then you are probably on a pretty tight budget when it comes to holiday shopping. You may be thinking “I would love to be able to show my appreciation for my service providers, but I just cannot afford it.” Well, let me tell you … it is possible at Walgreens!I recently did a survey on my site to see how much money people spent on gifts for their service providers including teachers, daycare providers, mailmen and a few others. The overall average was between $10 - $20. The most common gift that is normally given is a gift card. So, I went shopping at Walgreens to see what gifts I could put together for service providers without having to spend a lot of money. I wanted to focus on thoughtful gifts this year instead of just buying a gift card. I was very pleased with the gifts I was able to get at Walgreens without having going over my budget. You will find some really great options or you can watch my quick video of the gifts I was able to purchase at Walgreens below.
Walgreens Holiday Gift Guide:
1. Mechanic - A lot of people might not consider buying a gift for their mechanic, but it is a nice way to say thank you and show them that you appreciate what they have done for you the past year. I was able to get car cleaner, a drying towel and fix a flat. This gift was $25, but the items are very useful! 2. Teacher - I am sure most parents will purchase a gift for their son or daughter’s teacher this holiday season. Not sure what to get? Walgreens has you covered. You can purchase this cute Santa mug, hand sanitizer, hot cocoa and/or coffee. This teacher gift was only $13. You could always take out the coffee and the total would have only been $6.3. Hair Dresser - This gift is by far my favorite! Walgreens has a ton of beauty items that I had a hard time picking out which ones to buy. I thought making a beauty gift would be perfect for a hair dresser, so I purchased these beauty items and put them into this really cute makeup bag. This gift cost me $10.
4. Housekeeper - I wanted to get a gift that was thoughtful. Walgreens had a nice selection of tech items so I decided to get this cool iPhone armband, headphones and iTunes gift card. I thought this was the perfect gift because it would allow your housekeeper to listen to their favorite music while they were working. This gift was $20. 5. Daycare Provider - Since most daycare providers are exhausted at the end of the day from taking care of children I thought it would be nice to put together a pampering gift. I decided on this nice set that included a loofa, bath salts, lotion, and soap and then I added some comfy socks and a candle to help them relax! This gift basket was $10.
