Take a Ride With Us In the Mazda CX9
I was provided the Mazda CX-9 for a week to review. All opinions are 100% mine.
As our family continues to grow I worry about finding vehicles that can fit our family that are both affordable and safe. I currently drive an SUV and really love having the third row seating. We need to have the space to fit three car seats, two strollers and everything else like groceries, sports equipment, etc. I have become pretty attached to my current vehicle and have a hard time seeing myself in anything else. Well, I had the opportunity to drive a Mazda CX9 for a week. To be perfectly honest, I was not too familiar with Mazda and have never owned one so I was unsure as to what I should expect.
The Mazda CX9 arrived in my driveway and I could not wait to get out car seats in so that we could test it out.
This model was full equipped and packed with some pretty awesome features. My favorite was definitely the blind spot detector. My car does not have this so I was shocked when I first saw it pop up when I was driving on the highway. Anytime there was a car in my blind spot it would alert me with a light blinking on the side mirror. It also would come on if you were backing into a tight parking spot to alert you of your surroundings.Other cool features:
- Rain Sensing Wipers
- Power Open/Close Gate
- Bluetooth hands Free Phone/Audio
- Color Display rear camera - I am lucky to have a back up camera on my current car but it does not even compare to this one! The back up camera on the CX9 looks like it is HD, and it gives you a wide look at everything behind you.
Whether you have the third row seating up or down there is still plenty of room in the back. Plus, the seats are very easy to maneuver. My kids could not wait to take a ride, so the first thing we did was head to the park. Luckily, we had a small break in the weather and it was warm enough to be outdoors.
My family and I are constantly on-the-go, so we spent a lot of time in the Mazda CX9. I was surprised with how luxurious this car was and how smooth it drove. Plus, I absolutely LOVED the color!
Overall, we had a wonderful week in the CX9 and now I can tell you that I have a whole new outlook on driving and owning a Mazda! As you can see below my boys really loved this car too!
