On-the-go Breakfast & Snacks from Jif
In the summertime our routine is completely different. Sometimes we are up at the crack of dawn and never stop until it's bedtime.
This means that we rarely ever have a set time for breakfast. A reoccurring theme is a quick on-the-go option before we are running out the door.
At the beginning of summer my boys and I made a bucket list of all the things we wanted to do while they were off from school.
One of the items was to spend a day at a local farm visiting the animals and playing at their splash park. My boys wanted to get there bright and early so instead of eating breakfast at home we packed it with us so that they could enjoy it picnic-style.
I was so thrilled when Jif asked me to try out their new flavored spreads and granola bars that I went straight to my local Walmart to pick some up for our farm day.
I found these items in the same aisle as peanut butter and jelly.
I could not decide which items to get so I bought all the flavors available!
I knew these would be perfect because I could add the flavored spreads to crackers and my boys would be happy.
Actually, we were all peanut butter happy #peanutbutterhappy
Peanut butter is a staple in our household. My kids love having it on toast, mixed in with a smoothie or just scooping it straight from the jar. So, the new Jif spreads were perfect for our breakfast at the farm.
We quickly put out a blanket and enjoyed our breakfast before we visited the animals.
We also enjoyed the Jif bars to snack on throughout our adventurous day. The bars made snacking quick and easy. Not to mention delicious!
Before the kids got wet we took a snack break to try out all the different Jif granola bars. I am a sucker for chocolate so I highly recommend the Jif Peanut Butter and Chocolate Granola bar.
