1. Help rather than sell. Your readers can tell when you are being genuine and when you are just trying to make money. The easiest way to do this is by adding text links into your posts. Put affiliate links into posts organically when you have reviewed an item or you can help offer them advice or your honest opinion. If you talk about a specific product see if you can find it in through an affiliate company or using Amazon's affiliate program. Consider audiences needs. When using an affiliate program consider the desires and needs of your readers. Think of relevant topics that could be of interest to them and will also help make you money. One of the easiest ways that I like to do this is by offering more reading options through affiliate book sale programs. E-Junkie offers an extremely easy program where you can sign-up and promote eBooks and make a commission. For example, I offer affiliates of my Real Ways to Make Money from Home book 50% of the sale. Recommending products or services is a great way to make an income marketing an affiliate program. Be honest and suggest items instead of directly selling them. Consider making a storefront or a page with products that you use and recommend. You are not telling your audience to purchase those items you are just recommending based upon personal experience.
