Kids Cornucopia Treats
My son, Connor, needed to take a snack in for his Thanksgiving Feast for preschool. I thought these kids cornucopia treats would be perfect because it fits with what they are learning about in school and he could help me make the snacks. You can put anything inside of the cornucopia that you prefer! Here is what we used to make these:
Kids Cornucopia Treats Ingredients
- Ice Cream Cones
- Chocolate Chips or melting wafers
- Sprinkles {any color}
- Raisins
- Peanuts
- Chex
- M&M's
- Craisins
You could also add pretzels, candy corn, cheerios, and raisins.
Kids Cornucopia Treats Directions:
- Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips or melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl.
- Put the sprinkles into a small bowl and set aside.
- Dip the top of the ice cream cone into the chocolate and then immediately dip it into the bowl with the sprinkles. Put upright to dry {depending on how much chocolate you use it may take some time to fully dry}.
- In a separate bowl mix together all of the ingredients for the trail mix for inside the cornucopia.
- Once the chocolate is dry, fill the cornucopia with your trail mix
- Enjoy!
