Delicious Blue Velvet Cupcakes

My boys and I love baking. They have so much fun helping me put together all of the ingredients. We were given a recipe to make Blue Velvet Cupcakes and could not wait to try it!We normally do not bake from scratch so I was a little bit worried about how the Blue Velvet Cupcakes would taste, but they were AMAZING!

Although my boys love helping they are a little too young to help out with the dirty dishes. Luckily I had a bottle of Dawn dish soap to help me clean up the mess. Dawn's grease-cutting power allowed me to quickly clean up our mess so that I could get back to playing outside with my kids. I was surprised at how well Dawn cleaned my dishes and bowls. After seeing the the blue mess we made I was anxious to get it cleaned up. I was able to have my kitchen cleaned before the cupcakes were even done baking.
I used my re-useable red cupcake liners to show you how perfect these would be for the 4th of July! Not only do they look great but they are delicious. My kids were shocked that the cupcakes were blue!
