Banana Pudding Trifle Ingredients:
Pound Cake - you can use any flavor cake you like. Either store bought or homemade would work fine.
1 Large container of Cool Whip
3 Bananas
1 Large box of Vanilla Instant Pudding
1 Box Vanilla Wafers
Banana Pudding Trifle Directions:
Start by preparing your cake and letting it cool. Next, cut the bananas into thin slices. You can then follow the instructions on the box to make your vanilla pudding and stir in your bananas. Refrigerate. For my Banana Pudding Trifle I added both whole vanilla wafers and crunched up pieces. You can choose which you like best. To crush the vanilla wafers I used a sealed plastic bag and just smashed with my hands. You are now ready to layer your trifle bowl:
Layer of cake - it is always best to start with the cake because it is easier to serve. I normally crumble it but you can cut pieces as well.
Layer of vanilla/banana pudding
Layer of Cool Whip
Layer of vanilla wafers - I added the crush vanilla wafers and propped the whole vanilla wafers against the edge of the trifle bowl.
Repeat
I had enough ingredients to do 2 layers of each ingredient. I then put some of the vanilla wafer pieces onto the top, but you can leave it plain if you prefer.
